Contemporary art making requires simultaneous conceptual, contextual (art history, aesthetics) and technical insights, therefore the development of these skills is an integrated process. I approach teaching these skills in an organic, holistic way, so practicing one skill assumes the other skills. The success of this pedagogy relies primarily on the interconnectedness and coherence of the exercises, assignments and lectures.
