My work has been focusing on how digital technology has altered our perception and changed the nature of the image itself. The new image is inseparable from its creation, dissemination and consumption. Image has become a process. Image is a fast, embodied process that is there to be used, filtered and recreated rather than watched and gazed at. As image has become an embodied digital process it also demands the physical presence and competence of the creator/consumer. I make digitally inspired, large-scale, time-based objects and installations in order to celebrate and activate the presence of the audience.
